cosmetic condition with light wear.
None of the electronic functions work.
TOBY's gun and belt are missing. A small horizontal slat for the ventilation screen on the left side of his chest is missing as well. I took TOBY apart and tinkered with his innards, but even with new batteries I couldn't get any of his electronic functions to work. Separate "ON" and "OFF" buttons are located on the top of the head. The battery compartment is clean. The original toy could walk and talk and his eyes and gun lit up. Pouring oil into a reservoir in the head caused smoke to pour out of the mouth. I did not test that feature (fire hazard anyone?) Currently, TOBY has limited functions. The head swivels with a narrow range of motion. I did restore one feature... Raising the left arm turns the head slightly towards the left. The left arm moves, but has a limited range of motion. The right arm swivels about 90 degrees. Both hands/fists have hinged fingers. The spring loaded left hand closes on its own. There are two spinning wheels on the underside of each foot so the robot can roll forward. TOBY still has five of his original stickers/decals. There is an "RT-2" sticker on each side of his head. "Hello... I Can Talk" and "WALKING TALKING TOBY robot" are on his chest. A sticker of directions for the smoke feature is located on the top of the head. This sticker is peeling off. Two small internal components fell out during packaging. They are enclosed in the box.
Electronic functions require 4 "C" batteries. Batteries are NOT included.
