Our newly developed iLD driver series is a huge improvement of the popular SHS and LDTEC drivers.
Equipped with several safety features, this driver offers high reliability and safety.
Features:
LED indicators
The LED indicators show in real-time the current state of all functions and driver state. Operating at normal conditions or failure state are immediately shown.
Temperature monitoring
With a temperature sensor connected, the temperature monitoring is active. The measured values are used for overtemperature shutdown and TEC controller (sold separately).
Safety shutdown
The driver shuts down the laser when overtemperature is detected or the interlock loop is broken. The LED indicators show what kind of failure ocurred.
Active and passive interlock
Active an passive interlock loops are accepted. A simple door switch or a 5 V interlock loop can be connected.
Turn-on delay
After connecting the power supply, the driver allows the PSU to stabilize before enabling the laser output.
Programmable failure treatment
In case of a failure because of overtemperature or broken interlock, the driver can handle the situation in two ways. It can restart the laser when the failure caused problem is solved automatically or it will wait for a restart signal. The programming is done by shorting of of the two connector pins pairs.
