Description

Antique brass or bronze betel nut leaf box with handles and removable lid. Top and bottom are pierced with floral motifs. Sides are adorned with a repeating triangular motif. Believed to be from the Maguindanao area of the Philippines.
Dimensions: Length 9 1/4" x Width 5 1/4" x Height 3 1/4".
Weight: 3 lbs. 10.1 oz.
Condition: Very good antique condition. Light soiling to crevices. Minor casting imperfections. Occasional tiny flea bites dings and minor scratches. Age related oxidation to metal.
