Description
A very rare antique Sawankhalok Thai vase with drip glaze 14-15th cent 13 in h. from shipwreck. From neck up the glaze is shiny and the body was done with drip glaze. As the colors of the neck and body are different one may conclude that two different glazes were applied to the top and the body, and the drip glaze was intentionally planned. Perfect condition. From a shipwreck and provenance of major eastern US educational institution (the name will be provided to the buyer).History
