Description
Annamese Blue and White Ceramic Jar, Chu Dau kiln, Vietnam, circa 1500.A globular form with narrow neck decorated in under glaze cobalt blue of lotus petals, the lobed body decorated in leafy tendrils and four petaled flower blossoms with a swirl band surrounding the trimmed, raised and unglazed foot, brown iron wash on the base.
Excellent condition.
3-1/2 in. high x 3-5/8 in. in diameter. (89 x 92mm) 9 oz. (265g.)
