    Description

    Cambodian Cambodia Khmer Bronze Figure of a Deity c. 12th to 13th century AD.
    Cast on integral base and with nude upper torso; she wears an elaborate dhoti decorated with a vertical plaiting and frontal sash in relief, and holding objects at front in one hand. He is bejeweled with neckless, armlets, earrings, and elaborate headdress.
    The statue measures 6 1/3 inches high X 2 inches wide X 1 1/2 inches deep with an ancient surface patina and overall intact condition as seen in the images. Ex Collection Richard S Ravenal, former director of Asian Gallery, Oriental Art & Antiquities, New York, then acquired from Art for Eternity Gallery, NY.
