Hitachi CHEMSTRIP Super UA Urine Analyzer. This instrument uses a reflectance photometer which reads the CHEMSTRIP 10 S-UA Urine Test Strips. The analyzer carries out all procedures from picking up the test strips to measurement and data output. This fully automated walkaway benchtop analyzer will perform the following tests: leucocyte esterase, blood, glucose, protein, ketones, bilirubin, nitrite, pH, urobilinogen, and specific gravity. Automated sample mixing and volume adjustments. 200 strips may be stored on board. 300 maximum urines per hour throughput. Stat can be inserted into run without slowing maximum throughput. 3ml minimum specimen volume. One-button startup, no warmup required. Archives patient data for later comparison. 999 sample memory when system is online. Saved results can be recalled and transmitted. Bidirectioanl interface capability, patient sample bar code capability. Internal thermal printer. On-board diagnostics for troubleshooting. Interface is available to an automated lab transportation system. Handles 50 to 90+ tests/day. CLIA classification is moderate complexity. Can be integrated as part of IRIS/BMC 900UDx Urine Pathology System to provide automated chemistries and microscopies on one system
