Pair of Antique Khmer / Cambodian Bronze Horse Plaques / Medallions

Description

A pair of striking Antique Khmer / Cambodian Bronze Horse Plaques with particularly nice border detail. The plaques would have been strung together on the flanks of the horse using the two loops on the top and bottom of each plaque. These ornamental plaques could be mounted on a pair of polished wood blocks or hung on a wall and would display very nicely.  These particularly old pieces were purchased by my American expatriate father in the early 1970's in Penang, Malaysia where he owned an Antique Shop.
