Jumbo Mars the Great Robot is complete with original box and inserts and in mint super clean condition as seen in photos, but it's merely for display purposes, as it's NOT WORKING. I’m not a collector, but in 2004 I inherited a toy collection from a very meticulous collector. According to his records, he purchased this toy new.
From what I’ve been able to find online, this toy is about 50 years old.
It’s made in Japan by Horikawa, measures about 1

” tall and is made of litho tin and plastic.
The legs are tin and the rest of the body is plastic.
I just took it out of the box to make sure it’s all there and test it, other than that, it's been stored indoors and untouched. When working properly - robot walks forward,
tv lights up and space scene images move on the screen
with “
space
sound”. However, this toy had some internal short that warped the battery compartment and also made a slight bulge in the battery cover, so you can no longer install the batteries. This toy is NOT WORKING, but cosmetically b
