We are offering an old sword / bolo from the Visayan islands of Central Philippines.
At first glance one notices the missing sections of the blades edge. It’s just a part of the swords history. The blade is chisel ground and is free of rust.
A part of the hilts top horn has broken off. Judging by the patina, it happened many years ago. The rattan wrap is tight on the hilt showing no loss. Hilt and blade are tight together.
The scabbard is in good order. It’s missing one woven rattan band and one rattan band has frayed.
