    Description

    This toy was manufactured in the late 1990's in Japan. Unlike later versions (which were probably made in China) it has a beautiful litho box that is a mini reproduction of the box for the Smoking Spaceman Japanese battery operated toy robot from the early 60’s.
    The toy is a 3.25 inch tall wind-up version of this same robot. When wound with the attached key it moves forward with a side to side stepping action caused by rotating pegs under the feet.  Arms are positionable.
    The toy was produced in a few different colors: blue, gold, red and green. This one is red. Mint condition in original box.
